THE WHOLE WORLD -- STONED

It seems like everywhere I go nowadays, I always hear something about
drugs.

Whether it's about doing them or where to find them, I'm sick and
tired of hearing about them.

I keep finding these statistics on the Internet and all over the media
stating that there is a very low number of people who are doing drugs,
but in my opinion that's a complete load of garbage.

A statistic may say something about drug use, but that only applies to
people who answer these surveys honestly, and I think they are quite
skewed.

In answering surveys, I feel that more than a few people would be
afraid of either getting caught, or would be afraid of other people
finding out.

Drug abuse, from my point of view, is only increasing from where it's
at now, and younger children are starting to pick up this filthy habit.

I believe that the quote "Monkey see, monkey do" brings up a very
relevant point here.

Children could see anyone using any type of drug, and think that it's
cool, and decide they want to be cool, and actually try it. Do we want
our generation to become a bunch of drug-addicted zombies? I can't
tell you that I sure don't.

Why people do drugs baffles me beyond belief. I've heard the excuse
that "it helps calm me down" numerous times. But people shouldn't have
to rely on a drug-induced state to feel "relaxed" or "happy".

Drugs are one of the stupidest ways to escape reality; not only
because they will cause you more problems in the future, but our
generation could be full of people addicted to drugs! I cannot fathom
the world in which I live if every person was "high" or "stoned" Can
you?
