FLAWED PROPOSAL

Is Sen. Verdell Jackson, R-Kalispell, concerned about public safety
or attempting to discriminate against sick citizens who choose to use
cannabis (marijuana)? Senate Bill 212 doesn't target drivers for use
or impairment of other substances, medications or drugs which
undoubtedly are much more dangerous. Do citizens who use other
medications potentially face being revoked from beneficial and
effective medication for "life?"

It isn't, "If they are taking marijuana and driving, that's very
serious." It's if they are too impaired to drive, which is serious.
Citizens need to know beforehand what exactly is the certain level of
marijuana residue in the bloodstream being imposed? Cannabis can be
traced in the human body for days, yet doesn't mean a patient is too
impaired to safely operate a vehicle.

Senate Bill 212 should be rejected if it shown to be an attempt at
discriminating against certain citizens.
