Rep. Beto O'Rourke and the other morons at City Council must either be
crazy or they have a deal with the Juarez Cartel - or both.
Regardless, they should be impeached and booted out of office for
suggesting that the government should start a "serious debate" on the
legalization of drugs.

Don't these morons realize that this would lead to more drugs, rather
than fewer, being used in the U.S.?

To see what would happen here, all you have to do is travel to
Amsterdam, where drugs are legal, and see the devastation and waste,
both human and otherwise, that this policy has caused.

Legalization has caused greater use and the dealers happily reap their
nefarious gains without fear or conscience.

Also, go to California, where the use of marijuana for "medical"
purposes has mushroomed, due to its legalization. Now, every Tom, Dick
and Dope can claim to have some medical need.

Rather than legalization of drugs, we need a concerted and persistent
effort, from kindergarten if possible, of training and indoctrinating
our youth against the use of drugs.

It would also require drugged-out parents to get off their stupor and
set the example by word and deed.
