CANNABIS NEEDS NO RESTRICTIONS

It's commendable that The Reporter editorial is calling to finally
get the marijuana ID program started in Solano County ("Don't Waste
Resources: ID program is overdue," Jan. 12). At the same time, it's
time to quit abusing sick citizens by making them pay for the
privilege of using a beneficial, God-given plant.

Cannabis -- known to many people as the "tree of life" referred to on
the very last page of the Bible, the leaves of which are for the
healing of the nations -- is to be used freely. Making sick people
pay the state yearly to use cannabis to keep from being caged is extortion.
