LEGALIZE POT, GROW REVENUES

Elected officials should form a commission to discuss the legalization
and decriminalization of marijuana. By legalizing marijuana, we would
effectively create a new source of tax revenue for Arizona, as well as
rip the profits from the hands of Mexican drug cartels that are
wreaking havoc.

This would also allow law enforcement to focus its limited resources
on the real crimes in society, while simultaneously reducing the
burden on taxpayers to create new prisons to house these nonviolent
drug offenders.
