GOD-GIVEN POT

As a Christian, I agree with Steven Matherly ["Letters miss point;
legalize all drug use," Dec. 16]. At the very minimum, it's time to
re-legalize the relatively safe, socially acceptable, God-given plant
cannabis (marijuana).

One reason to stop caging responsible citizens for using cannabis that
doesn't get mentioned is because it is Biblically correct since Christ
God Our Father indicates He created all the seed-bearing plants,
saying they are all good, on literally the very first page.

The only Biblical restriction placed on cannabis is that it is to be
accepted with thankfulness (1 Timothy 4:1-5).
