Officers from the FBI and Drug Enforcement Administration, working
with the Crawford County Sheriff's Office, entered Rapid Response
Medical Center at 815 Harding Way West with a search warrant at around
11 a.m. and took the clinic's owner, Dr. Narendra Agrawal, into custody.

Agrawal faces one count of trafficking in prescription drugs.
According to FBI spokesperson Scott Wilson, the doctor had prescribed
or dispensed the drugs without a legitimate medical reason outside the
bounds of his medical practice. The drugs involved include a
derivative of oxycodone, a Schedule II drug, and a derivative of
hydrocodone, which is a Schedule III medication, Wilson said.

Agrawal was transported to Cleveland after his arrest, where he
appeared in U.S. District Court Monday afternoon.

Officials from the FBI and DEA declined to comment on the
outcome.

No other details concerning the on-going investigation were released
as the affidavit was sealed with the court.
