Re: the Nov. 21 Mindy Jacobs column, "Courting cocaine." Thank you, Mindy,
for writing
about Edmonton's drug treatment court and the successes of Oliver and Tina.
It was
discouraging though, to read that, "of the 80-odd offenders who've entered
the program
over the past three years, only 16 have graduated - a 20% success rate." My
loved one is
one of the graduates. Every day he and others choose not to steal or to use
drugs is a
success for them and the program staff.
