LISTEN UP, BARACK
No less an authority than British Columbia's own Pamela Anderson is
advising U.S. President-elect Barack Obama on homeland development.
Pam sent Bam an open letter outlining ways to make the United States
a better country. No word on whether or not immediate production of
Barb Wire 2 made the cut.
However, the legendary pinup star of Baywatch did recommend the
legalization of marijuana, as the cultivation of pot would be a
natural way to - and this is according to Pam - "save children."
Sometimes the obvious still needs saying. While it is easy to dismiss
the letter as nothing more than deluded musings of a woman with a
false sense of self-importance, fact is, who would not pay attention
to an open letter from Pamela Anderson?
Obama may not follow through on any of Pam's insights, but we know
he's going to read it. And truth be told, some of what she says makes
sense. For example, her desire to have Leonard Peltier released from
prison. Her thoughts on castration, however, are a little out there.
