POLICE VIOLATED RIGHTS OF MARIJUANA USERS
Re: Pro-pot activists protest after police raid coffee shop, Nov. 21
Isn't the mandate of the police to "serve and protect"? Can someone please
explain to me
how arresting a couple of people working at a coffee shop and confiscating
everything in
the place, including chairs and coffeemakers, serves society? How does
hassling medical
marijuana users protect us? What laws have been broken if the cafe was not
selling
cannabis? This police action was a violation of the human rights of medical
marijuana
users who were breaking no laws. Laws and law enforcement are supposed to
protect
society. When is this ridiculous war against people who cause no harm to
society going
to end?
