WORLD ANTI-DOPING AGENCY DISCRIMINATION
Dear Sheaf,
I am writing in response to the article Marijuana In Sport from Nov.
13, 2008. Drug testing athletes for cannabis (marijuana) has little
to do with enhanced sporting ability and more to do with the World
Anti-Doping Agency doing its part in towing government's discredited
cannabis prohibition line. WADA's policy amounts to discrimination
since an athlete may drink alcohol after an event but not use
cannabis which is safer than beer, wine or whiskey. Furthermore, the
policy may be leading to increased alcoholism.
Truthfully,
