DRUG AND REHAB CENTER TO OPEN IN VAN ALSTYNE

VAN ALSTYNE - All the building and rebuilding of the Enterhealth Life
Recovery Center is leading up to the day that clients can begin rebuilding
their lives, free of the ravages of alcoholism and drug addiction.
President David Kniffen Jr. said the comprehensive treatment approach
includes addiction-behavioral diagnosis, neurotherapy, medication
therapies, and enhanced support through an online learning program.

Enterhealth is a Dallas-based company that is offering a new approach to
treating addictions including residential treatment at the Life Recovery
Center in Van Alstyne. The company is expecting to be open early in
December, after receiving word this week that the state granted their
license to operate.

About two years ago, Enterhealth purchased 43 acres facing Lincoln Park
Road. The property held a 6,000 square foot house and a large barn. Since
then, the company has enhanced the property to take advantage of its many
assets, including the tranquil setting and the opportunity to include
physical activities in the individual treatment plans.

Kniffen said they first, after purchasing the land, hired an architect to
lay out the property for maximum development. They built four cabins for
client housing, set in a community-like atmosphere. Infrastructure was
re-configured. There are not walking and jogging trails, added landscaping
for a serene and tranquil experience, and an activity center including
basketball, volleyball, a putting green, horseshoes, and other outside
activities.

The barn has been converted into a cafeteria, where a chef will offer
nutritional meals, and where other activities can be held. Wrapping the
barn is a covered patio, giving clients a chance to relax with scenic views
overlooking the meadow below and other unique areas of the 43 acres.

During these years of preparation, Kniffen reported, they have learned than
an estimated 16 percent of adults Texas are in need of treatment for
alcohol abuse and nearly seven percent need treatment for drug addiction.

Enterhealth's residential treatment program will be personalized for each
client. The Life Recovery Center will serve up to 16 clients for as many
days as clinically determined for each of them.

Between now and opening day, Enterhealth directors will finalized their
staff, set up orientation and training. Kniffen referred to the nursing
school at Grayson County College as having a wealth of highly skilled and
educated applicants for Enterhealth's medical jobs. He said they have also
been hiring housekeeping, plant operation, food staff, a wellness director,
maintenance. In all, he expect the Life Recovery Center will employ about
25 people.
