DRUG DEALER GETS A GIFT FROM JUDGE
It's OK if you sell cocaine and crack.
It really is.
What other conclusion can you reach after Maple Ridge's Martin Nelson
received an eight-month conditional sentence this week for selling
cocaine to an undercover police officer on three occasions.
The Crown asked for time in jail, but the judge let him off the hook.
One of the factors was Nelson's remorse and regret, and the fact the
amount of drugs was a "small amount."
So what? The money spent for Nelson to get the drugs likely came from
organized crime. Punish these people.
The excuse Nelson had for his crimes?
"He needed to pay some bills."
Next time, sell Tupperware or Avon. Anything other than drugs.
