MONEY LAUNDERING LAWS SHOULD NOT BE NEEDED
To the editor:
Re: Coming Clean On Money Laundering, Capital News, Oct. 18.
The very fact that we have laws punishing people for not revealing to
the police how they obtained their money is an indication of how far
we have travelled along the road leading to a police state.
In a free society, the police would have no right to this information-
and no need of it either.
In a free society, drugs and prostitution would be legal. In a free
society, there would be no need for money laundering laws.
