ARRESTING USERS DOESN'T COMBAT DRUGS
To the Editor:
Where do kids learn to take drugs? Maybe it has something to do with
the fact t we advertise booze and erection medication duringThe
Simpsonsand hockey games.
Police and government know that, like with Al Capone and his alcohol
business in the last century, the answer to this problem is to
regulate drugs. But that will never happen because the gangsters who
make so much money from the drug trade have made it clear that any
attempt to regulate their lucrative and tax-free industry will be met
with extreme force.
So, basically, our cops and government are in tacit cahoots with
gangsters because they are too afraid to take them on. They would
rather keep arresting your kids than actually address the root of the
problem and take on the gangs.
