MONTREAL POLICE OFFICER FACES TRAFFICKING CHARGE
Montreal -- A city police officer who worked at the airport was
charged yesterday with drug trafficking, money laundering and breach of trust.
The officer, who has been on the force for about 14 years and worked
at Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, was arrested
yesterday after a lengthy police investigation, Montreal police said.
Sergeant Ian Lafreniere said the alleged wrongdoings didn't take
place while the officer was on the job.
