WHEN IT COMES TO JUSTIFYING INSITE, GIVE US THE NUMBERS

Once again the debate over Insite surfaces.

But the real question is: What are the numbers? We should base
everything not on what people believe, but on what the numbers say in
relation to budgets, bank loans, etc.

So what are the numbers regarding emergency room visits, paramedic
costs, policing costs versus Insite costs? Better yet, what would be
the cost of complete coverage for addicts, including free drugs and
housing, versus what we spend on corrections, policing etc.? We are
not dumb people. We can do simple math.

So stop making social policy based on moral beliefs and stick instead
to the facts.

The numbers won't lie.
