FILLING THE RANKS
The reason Conservatives want to shut down InSite is to put more
addicts on the street. That would allow them a reason to put more
police on the streets.
The Four Pillars approach to drug addiction -- prevention, treatment,
harm reduction and enforcement -- is already a joke since the
enforcement pillar towers above the matchstick pillars of the other three.
Taking away from harm reduction (Insite) and putting more on police
(enforcement) makes Four Pillars even more of a joke.
