NO CAFFEINE CRIME

Thanks for publishing Robert Sharpe's thoughtful letter: "Drug
prohibition fuels crime," Sept. 2. I'd like to ask how much crime you
have related to the addictive drug caffeine? Probably none. Yet
countless millions of Canadians and Americans use this drug on a
daily basis. So why no crime related to caffeine? Simple answer: it's legal.
