Antidrug ad promotion
WASHINGTON Two political opponents former Bush administration drug
policy director William Bennett and former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo
will team up to promote bold anti drug ads like the fried egg commercial
that pronounced: "This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs."
Cuomo, a liberal Democrat, and Bennett, a conservative Republican, will
announce here Sept. 3 that they will set aside their political differences
to cochair the Partnership for a DrugFree America, Cuomo said Sunday.
