Man wants pot back from cops
PREECEVILLE A Saskatchewan man who uses marijuana to ease the pain
of multiple sclerosis says the RCMP has his pot and he wants it
back. Grant Krieger said Friday the Mounties have about 115 grams of
marijuana that was put in the mail for himself and another man, but
it ended up in the hands of police when it went to the wrong address.
The person who received the package handed it over to the RCMP,
Krieger said. He and his companion plan to go to the Sturgis RCMP
detachment Tuesday to request that the medicine be returned. "It's
our medicine and we don't feel that it's right that the government
should keep our medicine from us when it helps improve our quality of
life," he said.
