Marijuana proposal reworked
A Denver man who wants Colorado voters to approve the use of marijuana to
help critically ill people with pain and nausea is going back to the
drawing board. After a hearing at the statehouse Tuesday, Martin Chilcutt
agreed to review the wording of a proposed 1998 ballot issue. Critics are
concerned that the proposed initiative also would be used to legalize
marijuana.
