Baseball's error
The Angeles are to be praised and congratulated for not resigning Tony
Phillips ["Angeles won't bring Phillips back for 98," Sports, Oct. 29].
It is interesting to observe that in California we have a threestrikeand
you'reout law. Major league baseball seems to have a
ninestrikesandyou'restillin law. Isn't something out of order?
