LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE COMMUNITY TO ACCESS DRUG BATTLE
LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE ~ "Are We Losing the Drug
Battle?" will be the topic of a La Canada Flintridge community forum on
Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Flintridge Prep School.
Sponsored by the LCF Community Prevention Council, the forum will start at
7 p.m. in Norris Auditorium.
Dr. Skip Baker, president of the prevention council, said a panel
representing people in the legal, educational and counseling fields will
provide the forum on the LCF community's ongoing campaign against drug
abuse.
Panel participants will include two La Canada Flintridge residents,
attorney Anita Brenner and school board member Will Moffitt. Other panel
members are Deputy Rick Momet, LCF community relations officer for the
Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station, and a representative from ACTION, a
group that helps youth stay away from drugs.
Baker will serve as moderator for the evening.
