Police Say Legalizing Drug For Medicinal Use Will Only Add To Confusion

CALGARY – Canada’s justice minister should spend a day on the street trying
to enforce the country’s confusing marijuana laws before she considers
legalizing the drug for medical use, Calgary drug squad officers say.

The Controlled Drugs and Substances Act that took effect last May
introduced a number of new distinctions in how suspects are to be charged
