MINISTER TURNS IN HIS SON

(Police to quiz youth on drugs charges)

POLICE arrested the son of a Cabinet minister for an alleged drugs offence
in London, it was revealed today.

The youth was released on police bail while further investigations were
made, Scotland Yard said.

He went voluntarily with his parent to a police station after The Mirror
newspaper contacted the minister about allegations that cannabis had been
sold to one of its reporters.
