MURDER VICTIM'S BROTHER ARRESTED
The brother of a teenager killed, police believe, in the aftermath of an
early January drug deal gone bad has been cited by Arroyo Grande police for
possession of marijuana.
Officer Jeff Bromby reported issuing citations to Grant Hunter, 20, of
Nipomo and Carl Baugardner, 19, of Oxnard after spoting a marijuana pipe in
their vehicle Monday night at a service station at Grand Avenue and Barnett
Street.
Earlier this month, Grant Hunter watched as his 16-year-old brother,
Garrett Hunter, was killed by a single shotgun blast at a fast-food
restaurant in Grover Beach.
Police continue to search for the suspected shooter, Anthony Fiorella, 20,
of Arroyo Grande.
Police said the shooting followed a disagreement between the Hunter
brothers and Fiorella over an earlier deal involving $200 in marijuana.
