GUARDIAN ANGELS VIGILANTE GANG

Re: "Angels set to land in city (July 7)" If the U.S. vigilante gang
calling themselves "The Guardian Angels" ever show their faces in Ottawa, I
plan to go out of my way to spit on them and taunt them. They do not
belong here. They are not welcome here. They cause more problems than they
solve.

It is the U.S.-style War on Certain Drugs that has fuelled a large
amount of the crime in Canada, and the last thing we need is a bunch
of thugs prowling around hassling our homeless people in the guise of
"protecting our streets." I'd rather be hassled by panhandlers than
vigilantes.

The Angels who are already in other Canadian cities should go back to
the New York slums they came from.
