2 STUDENTS ARE EXPELLED FOR HAVING LEGAL DRUGS
Two students at North Junior High School in Collinsville have been expelled
for having over-the-counter and prescription drugs.
The two were among four girls at North who were caught in January carrying
No-Doz and Aleve tablets and a prescription drug for acne.
The parents of the other two have removed them from school. The expulsions
were announced Monday night.
Superintendent Thomas Fegley said school policy dictated that any student
found in possession of any drugs legal or not, was automatically subject to
discipline.
