THE REAL DANGER OF SMOKING POT

IT WILL be interesting to see how your pro-cannabis lobby responds to
the news from The Royal College of Psychiatrists' meeting in Glasgow,
where Professor Robin Murray decided to reveal a rather different
picture to the one given as propaganda in these columns.

I quote: "There is enough evidence to implicate cannabis as a cause
of schizophrenia." and " ...it is as hazardous as cocaine and heroin,
yet the public is not being alerted."

The World Health Organisation has released similar information. continued...

If your cannabis apologist wants to risk his health fine. His choice.

But he has no right to pretend that a drug already classed
internationally as seven times more carcinogenic than tobacco is
safe. It is reprehensible to play games with the young, the
vulnerable and the not very bright.
