Dear Readers,

Due to a technical problem during this week about half the news items
posted to editor@mapinc.org did not reach their assigned editor promptly.
Just completed recovery operations have created a significant backlog. We
do not believe any items sent to editor@mapinc.org were lost, but it is
possible.

We will be working the backlog during the weekend and should be caught up
by sometime on Sunday.

We are sorry for the delay. Our standard is to post items within 48 hours
of receipt and our goal is to average within 24 hours of receipt.

And a huge THANK YOU to our many newshawks! We all very much appreciate all
that you do!
