Daniel Tourigny's letter Feb. 27 would have been a wonderful letter if only
Tourigny had not implied that Ian Hunter, proprietor of the Sacred Herb
store, should be supported all the more because he is "one of the vast
majority of pot smokers who aren't social outcasts who end up dying in a
gutter from a heroin overdose."
My 19-year-old son died in 1993 after ingesting street heroin. Why should
we not support the right of "social outcasts" to safe, clean, legal heroin?
I get so weary of those sanctimonious pot smokers sometimes.
