Besides decontaminating stolen vehicles, BioSolutions of Maple Ridge
has expanded its business into residential recovery, deodorizing and
even cleaning up homes after marijuana grow-ops and crystal meth labs
are dismantled.

The two aspects of their business have sometimes collided in the most
unexpected ways.

"We've seen all kinds of weird things," said BioSolutions' Beatrice
Sallis, when asked about some of the strange occurrences she's seen
in the business. "We've seen vehicles that have been turned into grow-ops."

It appears that criminals have found a way to create mobile drug labs.

Sallis said that BioSolutions has been called in to strip down more
than a couple of these creative contraptions.

"They're not very common but we see it from time to time," said
Sallis. "Usually it's the back of a van that's been designed to
either grow marijuana or produce crystal meth."
