TWO COMPLAINTS ABOUT CANADA DAY
Many thanks to all involved in making Canada Day in Cambridge a great
one, and thanks to mother nature for settling down so the fireworks
could go on.
However, I just have two complaints about the day.
First, to the vendors at Riverside Park who were serving drinks in
American (stars and stripes) cups on the very day we are celebrating
being Canadian.
And second, to the person in the condos on Eagle Street who decided
to display their own version (top floor for all to see) of the
Canadian flag - a red marijuana leaf in place of the maple leaf. What
an insult to the flag and all it stands for.
