CASH, COKE SEIZED, 7 ARRESTED AFTER JOINT INVESTIGATION
A joint investigation led to the arrest of seven men and the seizure of
cocaine, cash, cars and guns. The Snohomish Regional Narcotic Task Force
and the Everett Police Narcotic Unit concluded an eight-month investigation
Friday that yielded $18,000 in cash, a pound of cocaine, vauled at $20,000,
three handguns and five vehicles, said Jan Jorgensen, sheriff's
spokeswoman. The seven arrested men, residents of Stanwood and Marysville,
apparently were related and ranged in age from 20 to 30. They were
reportedly responsible for distributing cocaine and marijuana in Stanwood,
Arlington, Lake Stevens, Everett and Marysville, Jorgensen said. Multiple
search warrants were served Friday to search storage lockers, apartments
and vehicles. The two narcotics units were also assisted by the Marysville
Police Department, Jorgensen said.
