POT SPELLS RELIEF

Editor -- I have a lady friend who has had a double hip replacement,
arthroscopic surgery for one knee, and then a knee replacement, yet her body
is still wracked with arthritis pain -- in spite of any and all the
prescription pain-killers she has been given.

The only thing that gives her relief is marijuana, which her orthopedic
surgeon does approve -- but is afraid to sanction in writing for his own
protection.

How can Dan Lundgren or the Feds call this justice when the majority of
California voters have said otherwise?
