PARENTHETICAL COMMENTS

Your snide parenthetical comment (Legalizing drugs would kill more people
and cause more crime) to Alan Randell's April 28 Letter to the Editor
reminds me of an interesting analogy: If your hair is on fire, use a sledge
hammer to put it out! It's doubtful if there's enough protoplasm in your
life form to comprehend this comparison, though.
