EXPLAIN THIS UNFAIRNESS
As the parent of a 14-year-old diabetic, I can't believe the
government will supply free crack-pipe mouthpieces to addicts. I
recognize there is a problem with the spread of disease, but handing
out free supplies is not the answer. What has happened to society when
a hard-working family must pay for medical supplies, while those who
chose to break the law get free drugs and drug paraphernalia?
We have to pay for supplies for our son, who has no choice but to take
drugs to sustain his life. While Pharmacare does pay for a portion of
our supplies -- after we pay a deductible -- some diabetic drugs
aren't covered, unless you pay for a private health plan.
I need a better explanation of this so I can sleep at night, knowing
government isn't paying my hard-earned dollars on this plan.
