PUSHING STATE TOBACCO BILL
(COLUMBUS, OH) -- State Senator Grace Drake says the U-S Senate's failure to
pass tobacco legislation only makes her proposal more important. Drake's
bill would raise the age limit for buying tobacco products in Ohio from 18
to 21... and would require a licensing system for tobacco retailers and
wholesalers. The Solon Republican says failure to approve her bill will send
voters the message that elected officials are not concerned about the
increased rate of teen smokers
