A newshawk sent a note asking that other newshawks please use the subject
of the article/item in their message subject line. Why? So that other
newshawks do not duplicate your effort. Every day newshawks check what has
already been posted by going to:
http://www.mapinc.org/drugnews/latest.htm
which shows the latest items sent to editor@mapinc.org The page shows the
message subject line as well as the source (if it is set up in the
appropriate format). With these, a newshawk knows what not to send, and
thus does not duplicate work already done. But only if the item subject is
also shown as the message subject. Yes, we also need the item subject in
the body of the message.
Additional information on newshawking is at:
http://www.mapinc.org/hawk.htm
Thank you for your assistance. And THANK YOU NEWSHAWKS for all that you do!
