PARENTHETICAL REMARKS BY THE SUN EDITOR

WHAT STUDIES? In response to the editor's comment "Studies prove marijuana
use leads to other narcotics" (Letters, June 21). Have you ever researched
these so-called studies? There are an estimated 20-30 million MJ users in
the U.S. There are only 500,000 or so heroin users. Don't tell me the other
19 million are heroin addicts waiting to happen. There is no logic or common
sense that could lead any sober person to that conclusion. I think you
should switch from Canadian Club, to marijuana. Perhaps your statements will
start making common sense.
