DRUG TESTING

(BRISTOL, TN) -- High school athletes and cheerleaders in Bristol could
soon be subject to random drug testing. The Bristol School Board gave
tentative approval to the plan last night. Some parents feel the athletes
are being singled out, but the school's director says it is legal to test
the athletes. About two-hundred athletes will be tested. The plan will face
a final vote next month.
