UNREALISTIC VIEW
CHICAGO -- Eric Zorn (Metro, June 15) reports that the American Civil
Liberties Union opposes random drug testing of police officers because it
believes that "random drug tests on employees who have shown no signs of
using drugs is an invasion of privacy."
I wonder how many ACLU policymakers would entrust their money to a bank or
pension fund that never audited its employees until it spotted specific
signs of embezzlement?
