DRUG CHECK POLITICIANS
After the Upper House President incident, I would like to recommend that
current NSW parliamentarians, indeed all Australian parliamentarians and
candidates, be required to declare their average consumption of legal and
illicit drugs.
It was only some months ago, as a result of a very public row, that the
community learned that at least two NSW parliamentarians had used or were
using cannabis.
Before they vote, people are entitled to know not only the financial
interests but also the drug habits of those they might vote for.
