MONTEREY COUNTY SHERIFF LOOKING FOR ROOMMATES AFTER A RAID TURNS UP POT
Monterey County sheriff's investigators are seeking two residents of a
Carmel home where they found 45 marijuana plants growing Wednesday.
Drug agents raided the home at Lobos and Second streets after receiving a
tip about the pot plants growing in the back yard. Officers estimated that
the marijuana and some weapons found at the house have a value of about
$250,000. Arrest warrants have been issued for the residents, named by
Sheriff's Lt. Dave Allard as Robert Kreyenhagen, 38, and Yoko Whitaker, 47.
