REJOICING POLICE

To the editor: In response to the recent story, "Marijuana petition falls
short in two counties; appeals possible": Nevada has gambling and brothels.
How can Nevada have police who rejoice that seriously ill citizens, who are
supposed to be free, cannot obtain the healthful medicinal herb "marijuana"
to ease their pain, regain eyesight, prevent Alzheimer's?
