MUDDLED LOGIC
It defies belief that the staff of an Edgecliff heroin clinic should lend a
woman $650 for the express purpose of buying drugs for her son.
A spokeswoman for the Drugstop International clinic said yesterday that
because the boy had been on drugs for a number of years, a few more days or
months would make no difference.
The Health Department must investigate how a clinic which is supposed to
help addicts kick their habit should instead bankroll their illegal
activities.
