CITIZEN ACTION WORKS
The recent indictment of 29 people for illegal drug activity has caused the
Community to examine what has occurred. Plano and other cities have
experienced an increase in the sale of drugs.
Citizen involvement to stop the flow of drugs did much to bring about this
arrest. Hopefully, this involvement will continue and spread to other
areas of the metroplex, which does not have a history of helping the police
and courts.
It has been clearly shown that the police and court, no matter how well
qualified, will not win the war against the drug dealers alone. Rather,
in the end, their part is dictated by and subordinated to the level of
citizen involvement and the political direction the people wish their
community, state and country to take.
What say, neighbor! Let's get involved!
