ARRESTS OVER 'CANNABIS FACTORIES'

Police in Wiltshire say an anti-drugs operation has so far netted
cannabis with an estimated street value of UKP2m and led to 15 arrests.

Operation Dali had so far uncovered eight cannabis factories
throughout the county, a spokesman said.

Three properties were raided in Swindon and cannabis plants found on
Friday.

Det Insp Ian Saunders added: "The preparation and planning of these
cannabis cultivation set-ups is clearly a well-organised operation."

He added: "From the outside some of the houses we raided looked like
normal residential homes.

"Inside we found a completely different picture. Some of the
properties were completely gutted and every available space used for
the production of cannabis."
