SUSPECTED U.S. DRUG TRAFFICKER ARRESTED IN MEXICO
MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - A U.S. citizen wanted by the FBI for drug
trafficking was arrested in Mexico by the international police agency
Interpol on suspicion of organizing a cocaine-smuggling ring,
officials said Thursday. Randy Spradling, alias Jeffrey Peterson, was
arrested Wednesday at his luxury mansion in Guadalajara, Mexico's
second largest city, Mexico's Attorney General's Office said in a
press release.
The PGR alleged that Spradling was in charge of a trafficking
operation that shipped Colombian cocaine to the U.S. U.S.
investigators recently linked him to a two-ton cocaine shipment that
was seized in international waters, the PGR said. See
